30Mbps Internet in Rs. 400

Kathmandu. The new service provider has made an ‘entry’ while the speed war competition is going on among the internet service providers. Wi-Fi Nepal, an internet service provider with the cheapest package internet, is coming to the market from Tuesday.

Riteish Raj Singh Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company informed that Wi-Fi Nepal is providing the cheapest internet package available in Nepal so far with the objective of connecting everyone to internet access. According to him, Wi-Fi Nepal is about to provide 30 and 50 Mbps internet packages.

Currently, the company plans to start service only in Kathmandu Valley and then expand the service across the country in different phases. The 30 Mbps package will be available at Rs 400 per month excluding VAT and the 50 Mbps speed package will be available at Rs 550 per month. The company claims that this package is the cheapest package available in Nepal.

“When the internet charges are high, consumers tend to share and use it,” he said. Shrestha claims that since the internet provided by his company can be easily connected by any consumer, it will help in ensuring the access of everyone to the internet.

The company has opened online booking for both the packages. Shrestha informed that the connection work will start from Tuesday. Booking for WiFi Nepal’s cheap internet can be done by visiting the company’s website or by clicking here.

According to him, when connecting to the internet, the consumer pays only the router fee including one month’s monthly fee. Shrestha informed that the customers who pay the fee for three months, six months and one year will also get the discount facility.

Consumers who connect to 30 Mbps internet will have to pay a router fee of Rs 1,500 including a monthly fee of Rs 400. Similarly, consumers who take the 50 Mbps internet package will have to pay a monthly fee of Rs.

Consumers will also have the option to renew by paying a monthly fee or more. Shrestha informed that the consumers can get the discount facility by paying a fee of more than one month while renewing.

The company currently plans to provide internet only for home use. “We have been making necessary preparations for the last one year in line with the objective of becoming standard in terms of quality along with price,” said Shrestha.

He informed that the company plans to operate consumer service centers in different places of the Kathmandu Valley along with the expansion of services and to provide immediate repair facility to the nearby consumers in case of internet breakdown.

“Our identity is its value. We focus on quality as well as value, ”said Shrestha.

The company claims that the package brought by Y-Y Nepal will be equally useful for all types of consumers. “This is an equally useful package for families and students living in a rented house,” said Shrestha.

As the internet is an essential service, the company is preparing to announce more affordable packages in the coming days to guarantee access to it, said CEO Shrestha.
